Membership in CCCAThank you for inquiring about membership in the Communications & Connectivity Association (CCCA). As Executive Director for CCCA, I am the contact person for CCCA and handle the intake process and approvals needed should you desire to pursue membership. There are a few items relating to membership that are important to know. First, CCCA is a non-profit. Our bylaws require that members be a corporate entity, i.e. company. There is no provision at this time that allows individual professionals to become members. To assure anti-trust compliance we have legal oversight and counsel from the DC law firm of Crowell and Moring. Our membership is comprised of firms that can dedicate the resources and commitment necessary to firmly establish CCCA’s mission and engage industry wide issues such as; anti-counterfeiting, product certification, best practices, and passive fire protection. Current members consist of major cable and connectivity manufacturers, distributors and suppliers to the structured cabling industry. Once authorized by the CCCA membership process, dues are payable upon signing the CCCA Membership Agreement and Code of Ethics. We rely on the active participation of our members and their commitment to accomplish our goals. |
