CCCA Adds New Environmental Responsibility Section to Website

Sep 24, 2010

Washington, DC September 24, 2010

The Communications Cable and Connectivity Association (CCCA) announced today the addition of a new section on their website. The new Environmental Responsibility section will recognize and highlight the accomplishments of CCCA member companies to preserve and protect global resources.

Frank Peri, CCCA’s Executive Director said, “The environmental stewardship and accomplishments of the leading companies in the Structured Cabling Industry supply chain is a strong and positive story that has gone untold for too long. The new Environmental Responsibility section of our website provides CCCA members the venue to tell that story and to showcase how they are meeting their commitment to reduce their environmental impact.”

Member companies will supply content to be featured in the new section for a period of time. Information will be archived in the section, creating a compendium of accomplishments and contributions that have lowered environmental impact in the Structured Cabling Industry.

Mr. Peri added, “It’s also important to note that Environmental Responsibility is not only imbedded in the products our members manufacture or distribute, but is also implemented through internal business practices in their offices, plants and facilities.”
